What it does
It shows when and where the next rocket lifts off, and how long after that the following one goes, with the sites on a globe, times in the zone you pick, official webcast links and calendar files (.ics).
How the data gets here
- We read Launch Library 2 (opens in a new tab) by The Space Devs (a free API) every 3 hours, with at most 2 requests each time (the free limit is 15 per hour per IP).
- It checks the data (number of launches, time formats) and publishes it to this site only when something changed.
- Your browser only talks to this site. It checks for new data every few minutes; countdowns are computed on your device every second.
Privacy
There is nothing to type in. Your time-zone choice stays in this browser's local storage. Calendar files are made in your browser; sharing uses your device's share sheet or clipboard. Webcast and source links leave the site only when you select them. Visits are counted with the plusbeauxjours Google Analytics property; details in the privacy policy.
Attribution
Launch data: The Space Devs Launch Library 2 (community-maintained; accuracy not guaranteed). Globe land: Natural Earth (public domain). Rocket drawings and the globe are our own; no rocket photos are used.
